Complete your Showcast profile
Showcast is the database we use to cast you.
The more complete and professional your profile is, the better.
So make sure you logon as soon as you receive your Showcast account details and fill up with as much information as you can.

Create contacts on your phone so you know when we call
We try to keep our phone lines open to clients and that’s why we prefer to be contacted via email.
Still, please create contacts on your phone with our numbers so you know when we call you, as it could mean you have been booked for a job and we need to talk to you!

Get your headshots done
We need professional photos to market you.
If you don’t have professional acting headshots yet, please contact us.
We often have photoshoots at the agency that will provide you with world class acting headshots.
If you’d prefer to get your photos done somewhere else, still contact us to make sure you don’t end up paying for photos that will not work.
Acting headshots are not simple portraits and they’re definitely not glamour photos as those will likely not work for castings.
Start recording videos
The more content you have on your profiles, the better.
Start recording your videos (we probably gave you a script for your screen test, start with that).
Book in for training and workshops
You need to keep learning.
We have classes at the agency and also workshops run by casting directors.
Book in for some training as soon as you can. If you’re not sure what you should learn first, contact us and we’ll help you.
One thing you can start learning yourself is how to self tape so you’re ready for it when an audition comes your way. Please watch the videos below to start with and do some more research online.
